I have narrowed my scope of influence to developing the Houston Systems-Centered Training Group for change agents (organizational consultants, psychotherapists, and clinical pastoral care counselors.)

Couples and individuals with whom I have previously worked continue to schedule with me across the phases of their lives for informed decision-making and collaborative communication skills development.

I refer prospective, new clients to other sources of support.

Working collaboratively, we will co-create conditions that support your uniqueness as well as your similarity to others, your authenticity, by listening respectfully to your realistic thoughts and by attuning to your honest emotions.

You access common sense and spirituality to make choices and decisions that reflect timely and relevant criteria, knowledge, and skills.

You  harvest insights about habits that no longer represent you. You develop your capacity to focus on the present using your most mature perspectives about who you are created to be.

Your capacity to be curious and excited about the future (rather than anxious and tense) will evolve.

As you relate to inevitable uncertainty about the future, your thoughts can be realistic: No human knows what is going to happen. Wanting to know is normal. These two human experiences make people realistically vigilant. Being curious about the future invites us to look forward in wonder. This reduces our anxiety and increases our capacity to focus on the present. This makes us more able to do  what we can do now.

Accomplishing these simple (if not easy) steps makes it possible to make wise choices about the use of your resources: YOUR Time, Talents, Money, and Energy that represent who you are authentically. This accuracy clarifies your career objectives, what you really want to do for which compensations. Listening to yourself with curiosity and respect reveals your relationship desires.  You and the other people with whom you share your life will discover what you are able to co-create within your shared contexts rather than being bound to expectations from your pasts. You can replace historical habits that are barriers between you and your current goals.  Truthfully owning how you want to partner with whom for what benefits creates family and community.

Differences frustrate us.

Your willingness to slow down and respond to your frustration with problem-solving energy (rather than with blame or criticism of self and others) will increase your capacity to respond with functional inter-dependence among your sources of support. Collaborating with others to contribute from complimentary choices creates shared benefits.

Drawing on my experiences as a psychologist, Licensed Systems-Centered Practitioner®, certified yoga teacher, and ordained Presbyterian Elder, I look forward to partnering with you in your change process.
